Katy's Babblings

Obviously I have a large array of interests - I love to read just about anything (except romance), I love a huge variety of music (just about anything but super-twangy modern country - OLD cowboy music is OK - and hard-core gansta rap), I enjoy watching movies - comedy, action, thriller, horror - and I study alternative religions and ancient history. I suffer from fibromyalgia and chronic pain and fatigue and try to keep up on the latest treatments and find alternate treatments to help keep it in check. I am an unabashed carnivore and chocoholic. I will occasionally rant about myself, post random comics I have enjoyed, random thoughts, weird stuff I find, etc. - and frequently write sarcastic commentary about stuff I find in the old books I'm proofreading to prepare them for posting to Project Gutenberg. Obviously, in order to avoid censors and/or offending people, I will avoid specific mentions about racial themes, although there are a lot of HIGHLY entertaining bits that have come up - however, I am not of the races in mention and they might not find it amusing, despite the fact that the books were written over 100 years ago, different time, different era, and that I do NOT agree with the views therein, I just find the views amusingly stupid. Nonetheless, that is the one thing I will show some sensitivity about. Anything else is fuel and fodder for my fires, so read at your own risk and all flames should be directed to the authors of the books - who generally are dead, so you might want to track down their graves, maybe do a little war-dance on them, whatever will make you feel better. ANYhoo ... I don't even know if anyone really reads this crap I'm writing, but if you do - yo. Hope you enjoy!
